Alex Alden is a Director in JMP Securities' investment banking group.

Prior to joining JMP Securities, Alex was a principal in the financial institutions group at Banc of America Securities working with financial technology clients, including trading technology and market infrastructure providers, financial processors and outsourcers and software analytics developers. Beforehand, he was a director at Globalvest Management Company and a vice president at Putnam Lovell, an investment banking firm specializing in the securities brokerage and asset management industries.

Alex holds a BSBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business.
