Bob Carey is a Managing Director and co-head of the healthcare investment banking group at JMP Securities.

Prior to joining JMP, Bob was a Managing Director and senior member of the healthcare investment banking group at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Bob previously spent 12 years at Vector Securities International, where he was a Managing Director. Bob has also worked at Shearson Lehman Hutton and Ernst & Whinney.

Bob has a broad base of experience in the biotechnology, medical technology and life sciences sectors of the healthcare industry. Bob has assisted healthcare companies raise more than $3 billion in initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and private placements and has served as a financial advisor on more than $2 billion of merger, acquisition and strategic alliance transactions.

Bob holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame.
