Devang Kothari joined JMP Securities in June 2007 as a Vice President and senior research analyst covering the IT services sector.

Prior to joining JMP, Devang served as a research analyst at C.E. Unterberg, Towbin, following the software and IT services industries. He previously worked at JMP Securities, from 2002 through 2004, as a Vice President in equity research covering enterprise/application software with Patrick Walravens, co-director of technology research. Beforehand, Devang was a senior product manager at Siebel Systems for three years. He began his career at an IT consulting firm.

Devang received an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Heidelberg College.
