Greg Rivers joined JMP Securities in August 2003 as a Managing Director and is head of semiconductors and communications equipment investment banking.

Prior to joining JMP, Greg was at Robertson Stephens, where he headed the hardware mergers & acquisitions group, which focused on semiconductor, EDA, capital equipment and intellectual property companies. Before that, Greg established and ran Robertson Stephens' exclusive sales group. Greg also spent twelve years with Price Waterhouse LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities in various capacities, including three years as a Director in the Silicon Valley technology M&A practice.

Greg received a MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management, University of California and a BS from the University of Southern California.
