Jon Dever is a Managing Director and head of the financial services investment banking group at JMP Securities.

Prior to joining JMP Securities, Jon was a Managing Director in the investment banking division at Lehman Brothers, working with finance companies and depositories. Jon previously served as an Executive Director in the financial services group at UBS and spent eight years in investment banking at PaineWebber before its acquisition by UBS in 2000. During his 14-year career, he has worked with banks, thrifts and non-bank financial institutions, including mortgage lenders, consumer finance companies, commercial finance companies and specialty lenders such as business development companies and REITs.

Jon holds a BA from Georgetown University.
