Jeff Johnson joined JMP Securities in May 2006 as a Managing Director.

Prior to joining JMP, Jeff founded and managed JCJ Capital, a firm providing financial advisory services and asset-based financing to growth companies. From 1998 through 2002, he was a Managing Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Jeff previously led the east coast technology mergers and acquisitions effort at Cowen & Co. and has also held investment banking roles at Lehman Brothers and L.F. Rothschild & Co.

Jeff holds a MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
