Mimi Pham joined JMP Securities in January 2008 as a Director and senior research analyst covering the medical device industry.

Prior to joining JMP Securities, Mimi was a vice president and senior research analyst at HSBC Securities, where she followed both small- and large-capitalization medical device companies, focusing on businesses with emerging cardiology, diabetes and robotic surgery technologies. She previously served as an equity research analyst at American Technology Research and as an equity research associate at Sanford C. Bernstein, covering the medical device industry at both firms. Mimi began her career at Johnson & Johnson, where she was initially an engineer involved in the manufacturing of surgical devices and was later a senior engineer and project leader concentrating on the research and development of cardiology devices.

Mimi holds an MBA in finance from the University of Southern California and a BS in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
