Peter Keith is a Vice President and research analyst covering the consumer industry with a focus on hardline retail.

Prior to joining JMP, Peter was an assistant vice president and research analyst at Piper Jaffray assisting with coverage of 19 hardline retail stocks in a variety of sub-sectors, including: sporting goods, consumer electronics, extreme value retailers, home improvement, office products and pet and garden supplies. From 1997 through 2003, Peter worked at RS Investments, most recently overseeing the firm's institutional and retail sales efforts.

Peter holds an MBA degree the University of Michigan and a BA from the University of Vermont.
