Prior to joining JMP, Steve held equity capital markets roles at Banc of America Securities and its predecessor, Montgomery Securities, from 1991 to 2003, most recently as a Managing Director and U.S. Head of Equity Syndicate and Equity Capital Markets. Steve previously spent a total of four years at Hambrecht & Quist and Wedbush Morgan.
