Brian McKenna is a Director and equity research analyst covering the capital markets sector, leading Citizens JMP’s coverage of the alternative asset management industry. In addition, he covers the commercial finance industry, with a specific focus on business development companies.
Brian has more than a decade of experience following financial services and financial technology, concentrating on businesses spanning banking, brokerage, asset management, specialty finance, fintech, and digital assets. Brian joined Citizens JMP in 2013.
Brian holds a BBA from St. Bonaventure University, with a major in finance and minors in accounting and economics. While at St. Bonaventure, Brian was a member of the men’s varsity golf team, earning recognition as an All American Scholar Athlete in both his junior and his senior year.
